- Overview
This Warranty Policy applies to products supplied by Superdeck Pty Ltd (“Superdeck”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
Our warranty is designed to cover the structural integrity of our products under normal residential use, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
- Warranty Coverage (Structural Only)
Superdeck warrants that its products will remain structurally sound and free from major manufacturing defects that result in:
- Structural failure
- Cracking or splitting that affects usability
- Rotting, warping, or deterioration impacting structural performance
This warranty applies only when:
- Products are used in residential applications
- Products are installed and maintained according to recommended guidelines
- Warranty Period
The applicable warranty period will be advised at the time of purchase and may vary depending on the specific product.
- What is NOT Covered
To protect both parties, this warranty does NOT cover the following:
4.1 Colour Variation and Fading
- Minor colour variation or fading is normal and expected, particularly under Australian environmental conditions (e.g. strong UV exposure)
- Natural weathering over time is not considered a defect
- Only extreme and abnormal discolouration caused by manufacturing defects may be considered for assessment
4.2 Improper Installation
- Incorrect installation
- Failure to follow installation guidelines
- Use of unqualified installers
4.3 General Wear and External Factors
- Normal wear and tear
- Scratches, stains, or surface damage
- Damage caused by impact, misuse, or negligence
- Exposure to chemicals or harsh cleaning products
- Acts of nature (e.g. storms, flooding, fire, extreme heat)
4.4 Fire Resistance
Superdeck products are not fire-rated or fireproof.
We do not warrant or guarantee any level of fire resistance.
Customers must ensure compliance with local building regulations where fire ratings are required.
4.5 Non-Residential Use
This warranty is intended for residential use only.
Use in commercial environments (including but not limited to childcare centres, schools, or public spaces) is not covered unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- Installation and Maintenance Requirements
To maintain warranty eligibility, customers must:
- Follow all installation guidelines
- Ensure proper ventilation and drainage
- Use appropriate fixings and accessories
- Perform reasonable ongoing maintenance
Failure to do so may void the warranty.
- Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- Superdeck’s liability is limited to replacement of defective products or refund of purchase price
- We are not liable for:
- Labour or installation costs
- Removal or reinstallation
- Indirect or consequential losses
Nothing in this policy excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
- Warranty Claims
To make a claim, customers must:
- Contact Superdeck with:
- Proof of purchase
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the affected area
- Allow us reasonable time to:
- Inspect the product
- Assess the claim
We reserve the right to:
- Approve or reject claims at our discretion (acting reasonably)
- Request additional information
- Conduct site inspections if required
- Remedies
If a claim is approved, Superdeck may, at its discretion:
- Replace the defective product, or
- Provide a refund or store credit
- Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Changes to Warranty
Superdeck reserves the right to update this Warranty Policy at any time.
